Any miracle remedies?

Okay, so after having bronchitis for over a week I now have a terrible cold/flu. The joys of being around 2 year olds. I have tried everything...airborne, zycam, Tylenol pm cold/flu. I still can't breathe which means I still can't sleep. If anyone has some trick or secret powerful miracle pill, PLEASE let me know. I'm desperate.

One year ;-)

Sunday was our one year anniversary!!! Josh actually survived an entire year of living with me....amazing! Well, Josh is in California starting his summer job and I'm still in Arizona finishing up my job so for our anniversary we thought being in the same state was a must! I volunteered to take a day off work and fly to California for the weekend (because I'm such a thoughtful wife)! We spent all the money we don't have on getting me out there so Josh had the challenge of surprising me with a wonderful date on about $10. Let me tell you he did a FANTASTIC job! We went to my favorite taco shop down in san clamente, brought the loot down to the beach and ate, talked, and just relaxed. The beach was such a perfect place for us to go! Not only because I love the beach, but because it is such a peaceful place. Whenever we have a date night we end up going out to eat or to a movie, which is wonderful, but not the ideal chatting time. Even more, when we are home together I'm cursed with not being able to sit for more than 2 minutes with out getting up to rotate laundry or clean the bathroom. It was so nice to just sit and enjoy each other's company, no distractions. So.... after we devoured our tacos we went back to the Duffy's for our yummy cake! The baker we got our original from replicated the top layer of our cake for a fresh (no frozen then thawed) reinactment! It was delish! To top off an amazing evening, Josh still got me a present! First year theme being paper, any guesses on what he could possibly get me? Golden Spoon gift card! While technically plastic it's my favorite!!!! And from me to him.. BYU homecoming game tickets! (they're not on sale yet so I had to make my own, but he got the idea!). our lifeguard tower

Wedding videos take about six months to finish and get back. So after about 8 months of being married I was getting very anxious. I called, left messages, emailed and no one would ever call me back. I started getting a little nervous. Especially because a friend of our who has been married 8 months longer than us STILL didn't have their's back yet! Really i didn't even care if they picked up and said 2 more years, I just wanted to know they had the footage, and I would some day get it!!! I FINALLY got an email back saying it will be shipped tomorrow! Just in time for our one year aniversary! YAY!

Mud Run here I come!!!

Okay, so I'm pretty sure I'm going to be the slowest on our team for the mud run, but I'm working hard. Hopefully I wont be TOO far behind everyone else!!!!! Dispite some minor set backs training, today I ran the full distance (10k= 6.2 miles) in 57 minutes. I can run it now without huffing and puffing, and I'm almost to the point where I forget I'm running and just go. I don't think that will happen until I can run outside again, but only a few more weeks till I'm back in California and can do that!!!! Now it is time to speed up my time and add some inclination to the run and I'll be good to go. Only one month to go!!!
