Onions are not very good friends....

So basically I cry the most whenever I'm in the same room as an onion. So imagine me chopping several large onions for our brady bunch sized batch of tortilla soup with a gigantic japanese knife. After cutting my finger a bunch of times, because i'm clumsy enough without blurry eyes, I whipped out my swim goggles for protection.

Court of Honor

This was a while ago. But we were invited to attend the court of honor because the theme was The Chinese New Year! So they wanted me to bring some of my souveniers...unfortunately most of them are in a box in California, but I had a blast going through all of my old photos. I'm really anxious to find a time when I can scrapbook them all! These are pictures from the dinner.
